ASSOCIATE OF SCIENCE IN HEALTH SCIENCEs

The Associate of Science in Health Sciences allows service members to convert their military training and previously completed coursework toward a recognized degree that enables them to practice within the Military Health System (MHS) as well as transition to civilian jobs while preserving their Voluntary Education Benefits. In many cases, degree recipients also become eligible to take national certification examinations, allowing them to better serve the nation while on duty and further grow their career once they choose to enter the civilian sector.

This degree plan accommodates a variety of health science specialties and is composed primarily of coursework required of professionally accredited disciplines of study for credentialed practice within the MHS. This degree plan transfers entirely to a variety of graduate-level programs that also support the MHS and the civilian sector, which will better serve the military member and the Nation while on duty, as well as long after separation from service.
